Position at LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group

LeoVegas is where the lions play...and work! A fun, agile and fast paced environment connecting 1000+ employees with over 60,000 worldwide employees of MGM Resorts International, as our two leading forces come together. We're culture focused, so if you're an innovator, initiator and a team player, give us a roar and join the LeoVegas pride - WINNER of the iGaming Idol 2022 - Employer of the year award!

Let's create the world's greatest iGaming experience!

LeoVegas’ scale-up culture sets a tone of courage and capacity to act. Employees are encouraged to not only say what they think, but also to do the job that is needed - “to make it happen”.

LeoVegas does not believe in hierarchical structures, but instead that every individual employee plays an important role in the company. We trust that you thrive in these environments.

Due to our continued growth, we're now looking for a Compliance Officer to join our high performing team.

As Compliance Officer you will be part of fast-growing Compliance and Legal department within LeoVegas responsible for the overall compliance in the German market.

As our Compliance Officer you will...

  • Hold overall responsibility for ensuring compliance across the German market within the Group. As the single point of contact & support, this will cover the full operational compliance life-cycle including (but not limited to) responsible gaming, AML, customer complaints, regulatory proceedings and marketing/affiliation content.
  • The compliance landscape is constantly changing. The successful candidate would ensure that they are constantly reviewing and prioritising, where required, drafting new compliance processes and/or procedures to ensure full compliance with legislative requirements. The job will be focused on the legal landscape in the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • You will bring a “Business partner” mentality to the role by collaborating with other departments and group companies to understand the business landscape & product and help solve day-to-day compliance problems so we can have the best compliance service in the industry. All this whilst working with your compliance teammates to prevent silo issues.
  • Act as a communication point with the regulator ensuring your compliance processes are in alignment with their external legislative requirements.
  • As the team is self-driven with no micromanagement you would be personally responsible for accurate and timely reporting to local and overseas regulatory authorities, including those regulating responsible gaming, marketing, and AML/CFT. You will cooperate closely with operational departments ensuring AML, RG, and marketing compliance on a day-to-day basis.
  • As required, you will act as a liaison across the team, synchronising certain areas of compliance across markets and/or group companies and ensuring that we knowledge share where possible.

Your areas of knowledge and experience:

  • Knowledge of the German language at the native or fluent (minimum C1) level.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory background in Germany and/or igaming experience is preferable.
  • Legal degree will be seen as an asset.
  • Well-organised and detail oriented
  • Proactive and with a positive attitude.
  • Good time management and task management skills.
  • Ownership over tasks and ability to learn.
