As Connected Media Director, you are the primary point of contact for FrieslandCampina regarding media issues. You work closely with the rest of the team, consisting of, among others, a Connected Media Strategist, Digital Director and Connected Media Planner.
Based on the briefing, you work together with the various team members to provide the best advice for all touchpoints (full funnel cross-media; paid, owned and earned) to achieve the stated objectives. For this you use research data and various planning tools. Even after approval of the plan, you remain closely involved to ensure that the campaign runs smoothly, is adjusted where necessary and that the learnings are incorporated for future campaigns after the campaigns.

We are looking for a professional with experience in marketing communication and data- & insights-driven media advice. In this role, you develop the media and communication strategy for your client(s) together with your team. You advise clients on digital and offline media, and you are able to make complex information simple and understandable.
As Connected Media Director, you are responsible for the expertise and innovation of connected media planning for your clients and you ensure the quality of all plans and campaigns. You are also the most important link between the client and all involved in-house specialists. Based on your knowledge and experience, you can roughly handle and answer 80% of a client's questions yourself and for the other 20% you know when to call in a specialist. Together with the Client Lead Media, you write media strategies, possibly in combination with the Connected Media Strategists, and translate these into media choices based on data and insights.
Innovation plays a crucial role in our success. That is why you ensure that new products are applied in campaigns when relevant. With the aim of testing them, gaining learnings and realizing benchmarks. You regularly consult with all parties involved in the campaigns, such as creative agencies, publishers and any external specialists. Only by working closely with all our clients' partners do we achieve the best results.
You are also the face of Publicis Groupe in the market and know exactly what is going on in your client(s)' market. In addition, you have a keen eye for the latest developments in media, data and technology, so that you bring refreshing, data-driven insights and ideas that contribute to your client(s)' business objectives. You have an entrepreneurial mindset, show initiative and think in opportunities. You have experience with process, project and client management and are results-oriented, strong in communication and analytically inclined.
