Staff are our greatest assets. WRI Indonesia has recently established Climate, Economic and Finance (CEF) Unit to support transition of Food, Land and Water; Cities and Energy Systems. Each programmatic team and its support functions brings unique skills, knowledge, and experiences that contribute to the overall success of the organization. Having clear and structured Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is essential to improve the productivity of the organization to deliver people, nature and climate goals, supporting the government commitment to achive its climate ambitions by 2030 leading to net zero target prior to 2060.
The primary purpose of this consultancy is to design, develop, and propose a comprehensive and standardized KPI framework for all positions within the organization, structured by job grades and job families leading to improved efficiency or the organization to deliver people, nature and climate objectives. This framework will ensure consistent and measurable performance expectations, facilitate objective evaluation, and align individual and team contributions with the organization's strategic objectives.
Under direct supervision of the Head of Human Resources, this position will be based in Jakarta with office-flex working arrangement. In support of WRI's DEI commitment, you are responsible for actively participating in these collaborative efforts by integrating equity into your work, our workplace, and the organizational culture.

3 months of contract with the possibility of no-cost extension subject to final report and future needs.
1. Inception Report:
1. Detailed work plan, methodology, and timeline for the consultancy.
2. Initial findings from documentation review and stakeholder mapping.
2. Current State Analysis Report:
1. Comprehensive analysis of existing JDs and KPIs, highlighting inconsistencies, commonalities, and areas for standardization.
2. Summary of key insights from stakeholder consultations.
3. Recommendations for KPI categories and structure.
3. Draft Standardized KPI Framework & Matrix:
1. Proposed institutional-level KPI framework (categories, definitions).
2. Detailed matrix of standardized KPIs for each job grade and job family.
3. Draft measurement methodologies and data sources for each KPI.
4. Stakeholder Validation Workshop Materials:
1. Presentation materials for presenting the draft framework to stakeholders.
2. Facilitation plan for feedback sessions.
5. Final Standardized KPI Framework Document:
1. Comprehensive document detailing the approved standardized KPI framework.
2. Final KPI matrix by job grade and job family with clear definitions and measurement methodologies.
3. Guidelines for KPI implementation, monitoring, and review.
4. Recommendations for integrating the new KPIs into existing performance management systems.
6. Final Consultancy Report:
1. Summary of the consultancy process, key findings, and recommendations.
The consultant will be contracted on a deliverable-based arrangement with terms of payment details as follow:
1. First Payment (30%): Upon completion and approval of Deliverables 1 and 2
2. Second Payment (30%): Upon completion and approval of Deliverables 3 and 4
3. Final Payment (40%): Upon completion and approval of all remaining deliverables
All payments are subject to satisfactory completion of the deliverables and approval by the designated supervisor.
Individual consultancy contract (Part-time, limited term)
Must have authorization to work in Indonesia to be eligible for this position.
Final candidates might be required to take a writing test and to produce two writing samples when needed.
