We are looking for talented Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department. The successful candidate will join a team of over 10 specialists who provide comprehensive legal support in all areas of the department’s work. The team also provides legal support for business processes at Plarium Poland.
This vacancy is offered on the basis of a one-year, fixed-term contract.
Providing legal support in the following areas of Polish law: tax (particularly transfer pricing), labor, migration, contract, and corporate law
Supporting the preparation, review, audit, and approval of financial statements
Ensuring the application of special tax regimes
Preparing responses to tax authorities’ requests
Drafting requests to the KIS for individual tax rulings and submitting inquiries to other government authorities
Supporting the development and improvement of legal frameworks for business processes within the company
Assisting management and employees in resolving legal matters
Developing internal regulations and corporate policies
Preparing reports and maintaining communication with other companies within the international group
At least 3 years of experience dealing with Polish legislation
Knowledge of law in the following areas: labor, migration, tax, and contract
Ability to produce well-structured legal documents
Experience representing a company before state authorities when the company’s commercial activities are being audited
Fluency in written and spoken Polish
English language skills at the upper-intermediate level or higher
Ukrainian language skills
Experience representing company interests before Polish judicial authorities
