Job Description
The Digital Master Gunner Course Instructor will be responsible for reviewing and updating training materials, developing new Programs of Instruction (POIs) and lesson plans, instructing Soldiers on Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS), and providing subject matter expert (SME) support for various training efforts at Fort Leavenworth. Responsibilities include reviewing and updating POIs, creating new training resources, developing POIs and lesson plans for the MCDMG course, instructing soldiers on C2IS systems, and providing SME support for training efforts.
Must Have:
- Operational experience in a brigade-level staff.
- Expert knowledge of C2 Information Systems (AFATDS, AMDWS, TAIS, JBC-P, SharePoint, EWPMT, TAK, ATAK, WINTAK, GCCS-A).
- Hold a Secret Level Personal Security Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Provide review, analysis, and evaluation of existing Programs of Instruction (POIs) and lesson plans.
- Propose updates to current materials and create new training resources
- Aid in developing POIs and lesson plans for the MCDMG course ensuring they meet educations standard and TRADOC guidelines.
- Provide instruction to Soldiers on the capabilities, limitations, configuration and operation of the entire suite of currently employed Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) specifically focused on the role of C2IS in the Army Operations Process.
- Provide MCDMG SME support to other training efforts on Fort Leavenworth
Education/Experience/Required Clearance:
- Must have operational experience as a member of a brigade-level or higher staff) with expert level working knowledge in the tactical employment of the following C2 Information Systems:
- Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS)
- Army Missile Defense Warning System (AMDWS)
- Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS)
- Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P)
- SharePoint
- Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT)
- Tactical Assault Kit (TAK)
- Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK)
- Windows Tactical Assault Kit (WINTAK)
- Global Command and Control System – Army (GCCS-A)
- Must hold a Secret Level Personal Security Clearance.
Other Qualifications:
- Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Submit to required background checks
- Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and car insurance.
- Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes
- Be organized with a strong sense of urgency
- Adhere to established guidelines and procedures
- Demonstrate high standards of quality and accuracy
- Be in attendance and punctual as scheduled
- Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Maintain a US Passport
- Be able to travel in support of the mission up to 10% of the time
