- Creating knowledge maps for concepts, principles, and skills for children to master topics
- Sequencing objectives for all topics covered in Pre-k through second grade
- Organizing and breaking down topics into lessons for video and digital technologies
- Applying best practice approaches in teaching STEAM concepts, principles, information, skills, content, and pedagogy
- Working closely with Script Writers, Creatives, Artists, Engineers, and producers
- Researching and staying up-to-date on best practices in early childhood development
- Creating instructional materials and resources for educators and parents
- Implementing curriculum in the Kokotree app and website

We’re hiring a Curriculum Developer. We’re looking for a driven, passionate, and professional educator with substantial experience in early child development curriculum development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development stages, experience developing and implementing curriculum, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young children.
Responsibilities
- Developing Kokotree’s early childhood development curriculum for preschoolers through 2nd grade
- Creating knowledge maps for concepts, principles, and skills needed for children to master topics
- Sequencing objectives for all topics covered in Pre-k through second grade
- Organizing and breaking down topics into lessons to be communicated through video and various digital technologies
- Best practice approaches in teaching STEAM concepts, principles, information, skills, content, and pedagogy
- Working closely with Script Writers, Creatives, Artists, Engineers, and producers in bringing our curriculum to life through videos and other interactive digital technology
- Researching and staying up-to-date on best practices in early childhood development
- Creating instructional materials and resources for educators and parents
- Implementing curriculum in the Kokotree app and website
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years experience in early childhood development, curriculum development, or a related field
- 5+ years of classroom teaching
- 2 years of commercial curriculum development experience
- Bachelors degree in education or related field
- Preferred graduate degree in education or child psychology
- Excellent written and communication skills
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of young children
