Full Stack Developers

Kokotree is the #1 . We are an early childhood development platform and educational streaming service, and we offer high-quality educational videos for toddlers and preschoolers. Kokotree’s mission is to help children become lifelong learners.

Kokotree is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer with object-oriented programming experience. Full  Stack Software Developers will be responsible for developing and maintaining Kokotree’s web, mobile, and Smart TV applications. This position requires a strong understanding of web application development, relational databases, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team environment and be able to take direction from lead developers.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core, MySql, Angular 11+, SCSS, and Javascript
• Experience with web application development, relational databases, Object Oriented Programming, and software design patterns
• Ability to take direction from lead developers
• Implement and maintain our production and development infrastructure
• Work closely with UI/UX Designers to implement the desired functionality
• Mentor other team engineers in areas such as software development standard methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and professional development
• Prioritize incoming work and set goals for yourself and the team
• Collaborate with other teams to improve the developer experience working within the codebase
• Work closely with the Design and QA teams on improvements to the test and release infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core, MySql, Angular 11+, SCSS, and Javascript
• Ionic Mobile Application experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, and other Smart TV or Devices is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to be hands-on and understand the team’s processes and areas for improvement
• Familiarity with full-stack web technologies and DevOps methodology
