Job Description

PHINIA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status and issues, ensuring timely and accurate communication. This role involves updating customer orders, communicating requirements to production, managing inventory requests, and expediting orders. The representative will act as an official company representative, fostering strong customer relationships and informing management of potential delivery problems. The position also requires participation in annual physical inventory. Must have:
  • Update customer orders accurately and timely.
  • Communicate customer requirements to Production Control.
  • Request and coordinate product inventory shipments.
  • Provide timely customer feedback on order status.
  • Place, cancel, and expedite customer orders.
  • Maintain efficient communication and relationships with customers.
  • Report potential delivery problems to management.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Trade, Economics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 1+ year of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge in manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Proficient English.

Key Responsibilities

Receive Customer information and update orders in a timely and correct manner according to delivery policies.

Communicate customer requirements on their behalf to the Production Control area.

Request available finished product inventory to be shipped in a timely manner.

Provide timely feedback to Customers regarding the status of their orders.

Place, cancel and expedite orders.

Be an official representative of the company to maintain efficient communication and a healthy working relationship with all Customers, continually striving to improve the relationship.

Keep Management informed regarding existing or potential problems that could impede the delivery of orders.

Active participation in the Annual Physical Inventory.

What we’re looking for

Grade: Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Trade, Economics, Industrial Engineer.

Time of experience in similar position: 1 year or more in similar position.

Technical knowledge required: Knowledge in manufacturing processes.

Other requirements: Microsoft Office, ERP system.

English Required: Proficient
