Job Description

The Data Steward is a crucial role focused on creating and maintaining accurate client profiles in sales and traffic systems, ensuring data integrity. This position requires understanding data's business value and flow, and effectively communicating data policies to sales leaders and staff. Key responsibilities include managing customer naming conventions, interfacing with ad sales and technology groups, performing software administrative tasks, and responding to user requests professionally.
Must have:
  • Create and maintain customer naming conventions within multiple sales and traffic systems.
  • Interface with local ad sales and technology group on system related projects and tasks.
  • Perform common software administrative tasks on systems including user rights/group management, workflow maintenance, and interface configuration.
  • Respond to user requests and issues related to source systems in a timely manner with the utmost professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to deal with users at all levels of the organization
  • Effective time management and strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word
  • Proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to follow through on support requests in a timely manner, escalating to other members of the team or technical support when appropriate
  • A self-motivated individual with a passion for learning. Proactive, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly while completing multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic work environment
  • Innovative and open-minded—someone not set in established processes
  • Must be willing to visit a local TelevisaUnivision office upon request and must be located in any state where TelevisaUnivision has a business location
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

ABOUT THE ROLE: The Data Steward is an essential position within our organization. The employee is tasked with the creation and maintenance of client profiles in our sales and traffic systems, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity. A successful candidate will understand the business value of data and its flow throughout our business enterprise. The Data Steward requires the ability to communicate data policies, processes, procedures, and standards to sales leaders and staff in an efficient, productive, and professional manner. The role will report to the Sr. Manager, Sales Data and Systems. YOUR DAY TO DAY: * Create and maintain customer naming conventions within multiple sales and traffic systems. * Interface with local ad sales and technology group on system related projects and tasks. * Perform common software administrative tasks on systems including user rights/group management, workflow maintenance, and interface configuration. * Respond to user requests and issues related to source systems in a timely manner with the utmost professionalism. YOU HAVE * Excellent verbal and written communications skills to deal with users at all levels of the organization * Effective time management and strong problem-solving skills * Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word * Proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team * Ability to follow through on support requests in a timely manner, escalating to other members of the team or technical support when appropriate * Experience with sales systems such as Salesforce, Wide Orbit, and Operative One a plus * As a Spanish language network, bilingual skills are strongly preferred. * A self-motivated individual with a passion for learning. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
