Ensure continuity in the administration, support, and operation of databases to guarantee the availability, continuity, and integrity of existing data repositories in the SPLatam region, both on-premise and in the cloud. Also, ensure the implementation of requirements from architecture, security, and internal control areas.

Responsibilities of the position:

• Administer and ensure the correct functioning of data platforms in the SPLatam region, with a priority commitment to service security and availability (SLA > 99.95%) both on-premise and in the cloud.
• Manage documentation and contribute to new implementations, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines through TSBs.
• Create, configure, and administer databases on-premise and in the cloud using Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) with Terraform for required projects.
• Design, deploy, and monitor database services on-premise and in the cloud using IaaC (Terraform).
• Plan and implement resource provisioning for database services according to business needs.
• Design contingency and continuity plans for data platforms.

Requirements

Education:

Systems Engineer

Experience:

• 2 years of proven experience in database administration on-premise and in the cloud.
• Proven experience in AWS and Terraform.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.

Required technical knowledge:

• Extensive knowledge in administration, support, and operation of AWS cloud database services, and additionally in SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Sybase database engines.
• Intermediate Linux knowledge.
• AWS cloud services.
• Pipeline management using Jenkins.
