Job Description
This role as Deputy Manager - Quality focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction and protection within the W/H manufacturing industry. Key responsibilities include coordinating APQP, managing customer audits, supervising shop floor quality, and analyzing customer concerns. The position requires strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA), 7QC tools, structured problem-solving techniques, and IATF 16949 standards. A BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience is essential.
Must have:
- Ensure customer satisfaction and protection
- Coordinate APQP / New Program & ECN
- Ensure quality system meets EOS / IATF 16949 requirements
- Coordinate customer audits and observation closure
- Supervise shop floor assembly & cutting
- Maintain shop floor business records
- Perform daily FTQ analysis and customer concern analysis
- Ensure on-time response to customer concerns / WIR
- Develop team capability through layered and process audits
- Basic knowledge of Quality Core Tools (APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/FMEA)
- Knowledge of 7QC tools, Control Plan, COPQ, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke
- Experience with Product/Process Audit, Layered Audit, Calibration
- Knowledge of structured problem solving (Why-Why analysis, 8D analysis, FTA)
- Experience in customer interaction and handling (Customer Mapping)
- Warranty handling & analysis
- Implementation and sustenance of control plan
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 8-10 years’ experience in W/H manufacturing Industry & Quality

- Ensure that quality system meets requirements of EOS / IATF 16949
- Customer Audits and observation closure coordinator
- Harness Safety Characteristic
- Shop floor supervision assembly & cutting
- Maintain shop floor business records
- Daily review of FTQ analysis
- Customer Concern analysis
- Ensure on time response to customer concerns / WIR
- Develop team capability by layered audits and process audits and build positive culture

Education and Qualification
- BE / B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
