Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and improvement of our CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration and deployment (GitHub, GitLab, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to track system health, performance, and error rates (Datadog, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail).
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth deployments for our suite of applications and services.
- Document system designs and operational procedures to grow your knowledge and the team’s knowledge base, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible (Lucid, SharePoint, Google Suite).
- Participate in the evaluation of emerging technologies and tools, helping to determine solutions that drive innovation and technical excellence.
- Implement security measures and compliance protocols to safeguard our systems and data.
- Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, Site Reliability Engineering responsibilities, and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Linux CLI navigation and basic command-line operations.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience or coursework in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (strong AWS understanding is a plus!).
- Experience with version control (Git) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, JFrog Artifactory).
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- A strong drive to learn and apply new technologies as industry trends and best practices evolve in the DevOps and Site Reliability spaces.
