Job Description

As a DevOps Intern in Aptiv's Advanced Safety and User Experience (ASUX) team, you will develop tools and infrastructure for next-generation driver assistance systems. Based in Troy, MI, you will support core DevOps operations, enabling seamless software delivery and system integration for cutting-edge ADAS and BCM products. This role involves automation, software integration, and driving innovation in the automotive space, contributing to the future of transportation.
Must have:
  • Support the development and maintenance of a CI/CD/CT framework.
  • Assist with software build and release activities and pre-release software checkouts.
  • Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve CI/CD issues in collaboration with software development teams.
  • Gain hands-on experience using Jenkins pipelines, Git/Gerrit, Python, Coverity, and other industry-standard DevOps tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers across Troy and Monterrey to contribute to real-world software integration projects.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Python, Jira, Confluence, and Coverity.
  • A basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development life cycles.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and communicate effectively in a technical environment.
Good to have:
  • Interest in learning Automotive SPICE standards and embedded software integration.

Your Role

Are you excited about automation, software integration, and driving innovation in the automotive space? As a DevOps Intern in our Advanced Safety and User Experience (ASUX) team, you’ll play a key role in developing the tools and infrastructure that power the next generation of driver assistance systems. Based in Troy, MI, you’ll support core DevOps operations that enable seamless software delivery and system integration for cutting-edge ADAS and BCM products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the development and maintenance of a CI/CD/CT (Continuous Integration/Delivery/Testing) framework used in ASUX software delivery.
  • Assist with software build and release activities and pre-release software checkouts.
  • Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve CI/CD issues in collaboration with software development teams.
  • Gain hands-on experience using Jenkins pipelines, Git/Gerrit, Python, Coverity, and other industry-standard DevOps tools.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers across Troy and Monterrey to contribute to real-world software integration projects.

What You’ll Need:
