The Digital Partnerships Specialist will support Sony Pictures Entertainment's (SPE) streaming and digital businesses across owned and partner platforms, including Sony One, FAST channels, social video, and emerging products. Key responsibilities include managing digital product launches in Brazil, LATAM, and USH, interfacing with content and distribution partners, ensuring digital products meet revenue and audience goals, and providing social media services. The role involves reporting on channel performance, partnering with Programming for content curation, managing deliverable routing, and acting as a secondary point of contact for digital businesses. Additionally, the specialist will track relationships with third-party studios for content licensing and asset acquisition, and create presentations for stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in media or digital industry (Streaming, Social, Web, Video, Mobile, OTT).
  • Knowledge of Drupal 7.x or similar CMS.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish languages, and Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience with content creation is a plus.
  • Must maintain an entrepreneurial mindset.

General Summary:

Digital Partnerships Specialist will be in charge of supporting our overall streaming and digital businesses within our owned and partner platforms including Sony One, FAST channels, social video and future products.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support tasks needed to maintain and launch digital products and businesses in Brazil, LATAM and USH

  • Interphase internal and external content, technology and distribution partners across the LATAM region

  • Ensure that the digital products are meeting all budgeted goals including audience, reach, and revenues

  • Support our team with social media services, development partners, software manufactures

  • Report and track Channels performance and provide recommendations based on data

  • Partner with Programming on content curation for each market and product

  • Manage routing deliverables to internal and external stakeholders

  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for the digital businesses, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and up to date

  • Support by tracking and managing relationships with third party studios from which network content is licensed and facilitate the acquisition of assets that support priority shows

  • Create persuasive presentations based on the manager’s input in order to sell through ideas and concepts to worldwide network stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Keen interest in digital pop culture, music, content, creators and streaming technologies.(Streaming, Social Media, Video and Entertainment Sites and Influencers.)
  • Understanding of content programming, acquisition and distribution
  • Strong project manager with ability to prioritize and execute on time
  • An enthusiastic user of new technologies, i.e., an early adopter
  • Experience understanding the use of data and identifying what signals provide the necessary outcomes
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to proactively state issues, provide recommendation and report project status to a diverse non-technical audience
  • Ability to troubleshoot blockers and keep a project on track is a must
  • Must be detail oriented, quality driven, straightforward, self-motivated and proactive
  • Self-starter who can work independently and communicate back to peers, and the team
  • Must be a team player
  • Technical knowledge involving project development tools such as Drupal, JIRA, analytics tools, video CMS
  • Able to learn new technologies and businesses quickly
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish language and Portuguese a plus
  • 4+ years of education required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years work experience within media or digital industry working directly on one or more of the following: Streaming, Social, Messaging, Web, Video, Mobile or OTT
  • 1-3 years work experience within the streaming/media/television or a related industry
  • Knowledge of Drupal 7.x or a similar CMS is required
  • Experience with content creation is a plus
  • Must maintain an entrepreneurial mindset
