Job Description

Reporting to Tatler’s Digital Director, you’ll pitch and write the news stories that drive our digital offering, as well as longer, in-depth features. The ideal candidate will stay calm under pressure and work confidently to tight deadlines. They’ll have a genuine interest in the Tatler world and its cast of characters, an instinct for what makes a story engaging and a good understanding of SEO to ensure stories reach the right audience.
Must have:
  • Pitch and write digital news stories and features
  • Build and format stories for Tatler.com
  • Ensure all copy is accurate and polished
  • Use CMS to present content in a glamorous, glossy style
  • Keep up to date with news in the Tatler world
  • Occasionally assist with research and writing for the print magazine
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Proven ability to pitch and develop engaging digital news stories and features
  • Confidence using a CMS to build and format content
  • Understanding of Tatler’s glossy, luxury aesthetic
  • Excellent news sense and awareness of relevant stories
  • Good research skills and ability to work quickly under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices

  • Confidence using a CMS to build and format content to a high visual standard
  • An understanding of how to present content in line with Tatler’s glossy, luxury aesthetic
  • Excellent news sense and awareness of stories relevant to the Tatler world
  • Good research skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimise stories for digital reach
  • Collaborative approach, with the flexibility to support the print team when needed
