The Nispera APM product management team reporting to this role will be responsible for delivering the following key responsibilities:

•Product Strategy … evaluating the market, customer requirements, competition, overall cost structure, and investments needed to compete and win.  This is typically refreshed annually and revisited periodically as the market and customer needs evolve.

The Product Director for Nispera is a senior leadership role with customer-facing elements – with opportunities to interact and negotiate directly with customers when necessary, when steps are needed above & beyond the regional delegation of authority, or to help in  sales process as needed.  Furthermore, the Director will work closely with the Director of Sales Operations to ensure alignment in delivering value-added services and maximizing client outcomes during the contracting period.

The role will be based in Fluence’s Houston, TX offices and will report to the President of Fluence Digital with close interaction with the Regions, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and both the Projects (BESS) and Services elements of Fluence.

Travel expected to be 20-25% with periods of more or less frequency based on business needs.

The team currently has ~10 direct reports , with a rapidly increasing number of clients, and resulting growth of both the business and the team is expected in the next several years.   There are several indirect technical sales team members located in the three major regions that will also require leadership and ongoing support from the product team.  The Nispera engineering team is also involved in the execution of the programs and represents another 25-30 associates who take direction from this leadership role.

What’s unique about this role?
