We are seeking a talented individual to join our System Engineering team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.
Docker Engineer
Position overview:
We are seeking a skilled Docker Engineer with strong background in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) to support containers hosted on Kubernetes infrastructure in a dynamic, high-availability environment. Experience in docker swarm cluster build and support is an advantage.

We will count on you to:
- Participate in providing 24X7 support and administrating Oracle Linux hosted systems and Docker/Containers infrastructure. Must be willing to work on shifts and weekends whenever required.
- Manage system as a portfolio. For example, tracking and managing work plan for the systems to ensure we meet key deliverables and communicating to stakeholders.
- Interact with various technology groups within our company to investigate and resolve issues (not limited to container recycle, process hung).
- Participate in internal team meetings, scoping, and technical documentation.
- Use Devops tools to onboarding business applications
What you need to have:
- Relevant Degree with a minimum 3 to 6 years in Linux, OpenStack, AWS cloud and Web server support experience, Kubernetes including Docker & container experience
- Working experience in setting up and managing docker swarm cluster for at least 3 years.
- Working experience in Linux environments preferred
- Good understanding of network topology (three-tier architecture) and cloud computing framework. (AWS / Azure )
- Experience working with containers and service orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS or GKE)
- Knowledge of Helm charts
- Working experience with Incident management lifecycle and change management lifecycle
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools like CI/CD, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Artifactory (Jfrog), Ansible playbook or Ansible Tower, Oracle Linux Automation Manager (OLAM).
- Experience in Cloud computing platforms (AWS, AZURE); good understanding of Cloud Networking and Security concepts.
What makes you stand out:
- Good exposure of AWS console and its components.
- Experience with API configuration.
- Experience with high availability, load balancing and failover configurations.
- Strong scripting language knowledge, such as Python, Shell.
- ITIL v3 or ITIL Service Operation knowledge/certification is an advantage
