Job Summary

Job Description

Assist with various aspects of US federal and state partnership (“P/S”) and disregarded entity (“DE”) taxation for the Company including tax compliance, estimated payments, management of US tax audits, fixed asset maintenance, and income tax provision. The position will be multi-disciplinary, focusing on US tax implications and calculations, departmental administration, and interaction with various business groups.
Must have:
  • Work with outside tax advisors to prepare corporate and partnership Federal and State Income Tax Returns
  • Prepare quarterly estimates and extensions
  • Ensure that filings are accurate, timely, and meet the requirements for taxing jurisdictions
  • Prepare tax return workpapers and account reconciliations
  • Prepare apportionment factors and state tax adjustments
  • Prepare and review fixed assets computations and maintain SAGE Fixed asset software
  • Assist with management of US audits which will include interacting with examination agents, preparation, and review of responses to IDRs
  • Assist with income tax provision calculation
  • Assist with maintaining tax calendar
  • Assist in identifying and managing the implementation of tax department process improvements
  • Research US domestic tax issues and communicate findings effectively
  • Continuous process improvement through recommending and implementing efficiencies
  • Any other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.

Years of Related Experience

At least 4 years of experience
