Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to operate and maintain mobile shred vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient service. Responsibilities include professional client communication, accurate handling of deliveries and shredding requests, and precise paperwork. The role requires physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods, along with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must have:
  • Communicate professionally with clients and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain Mobile Shred Vehicle or xox truck safely
  • Handle physical requirements for loading, transporting, and driving
  • Execute accurate and timely client delivery and shredding requests
  • Prepare accurate paperwork and records
  • Climb into truck cab, grip, lift, push, pull, carry bins
  • Lift at least 70 pounds
  • Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical

NON CDL DRIVER

PAY: 21.00-$22.00

(Benefits Day 1 of employment)

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

HOURS: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Depends on route completion )

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicates in a friendly professional manner with clients and co-workers
  • Truck Driver operates and maintains Mobile Shred Vehicle or xox truck safely and efficiently (both manual or standard transmission)
  • Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance (details below)
  • Executes accurate and timely handling of client delivery and shredding requests
  • Prepares accurate paperwork and records
  • Climb/step-up into a truck cab
  • Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, varying walking surfaces and elevation
  • Lift at least 70 pounds
  • Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Truck Driver should have current experience in customer service or a service industry
  • Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, varying walking surfaces and elevation
  • Lift at least 70 pounds
  • Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
  • Two or more years’ route transportation experience preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check and a DOT physical
  • Demonstrate safe/efficient driving skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Can adhere to and enforce all security procedures
