Job Description

Marvell is seeking a DSP Firmware Engineer to join a highly skilled team designing, simulating, implementing, and validating DSP ASICs for coherent DSP devices. This role involves developing firmware platforms and frameworks for CDSP products, working closely with hardware engineers, implementing firmware algorithms to control DSP hardware, developing specific API interfaces, and creating RTOS solutions. The engineer will also participate in defining a highly integrated FW/HW development flow, contributing to essential building blocks of data infrastructure.
Must have:
  • BS or MS in Electronics, Computer Science or Telecommunications
  • Proficient in C programming language
  • Knowledge of C++ programming language
  • Familiarity with Firmware Development and Debugging on SoCs for embedded Applications
  • Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts
  • Fluency in Python programming language
  • Ability to communicate and work closely with other area development teams
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of FreeRTOS or other real time operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of RTL programing languages (Verilog/VHDL)
  • Ability to communicate in spoken and written English with teams in other geographical locations

You will be part of a highly skilled team involved in the design, simulation, implementation, and validation of DSP ASICs.

What You Can Expect

You will participate in the development of our firmware platform and framework for CDSP products

  • Work closely with hardware engineers to implement support firmware
  • Implement firmware algorithms to control DSP hardware
  • Develop specific API interface to control CDSP products
  • Develop specific RTOS solutions for our DSP products
  • Participate in the definition of a highly integrate FW/HW development flow

What We're Looking For

Required skills
