Job Description

Haleon, a new leading consumer healthcare company, is seeking an EHS Co-Op with an Environmental Science/Engineering major for a 6-month term starting July 2025. The role involves working with the site environmental, health, safety, and wellness department to achieve zero injuries and environmental releases. Responsibilities include engaging with associates and leaders, analyzing injury trends, performing ergonomic assessments, auditing corrective actions and processes, and supporting emergency response preparedness. As an EHS co-op at Haleon, we believe you are a key asset to helping keep us safe. You will work with the site environmental, health, safety, and wellness department to achieve their goals of zero injuries and environmental releases.

What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

  • Frequent engagements with both associates and operational leaders
  • Evaluate trends and provide analysis of all injuries
  • Performing ergonomic assessments
  • Audit corrective and preventive actions for effectiveness
  • Audit current processes for effectiveness
  • Supporting with emergency response preparedness

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:

Education required:

  • Pursuing a BSc degree in any of the following disciplines: environmental science, environmental engineering, athletic training, or related field
  • Have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a degree program
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization
  • Candidate must be eligible to work on a full-time basis during the internship duration (40 hours/week)
  • 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA

Other requirements:

  • Able to work on site in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred requirements:

  • Basic understanding of working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
  • Basic understanding of ergonomics
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations
