Must Have:
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with programming languages (e.g., C or C++).
  • Experience with hardware and lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices for software development.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.

Embedded Software Test Development Engineer – (Bothell, WA)

  • Design, implement, and execute automated tests for ultrasound system hardware modules, working under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Own the delivery of test software components, including requirements, design, implementation, and feature verification.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clinical specialists to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Work in a Windows development environment with pattern-oriented C and/or C++.

  • You have a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • You bring 3+ years of experience with programming languages (e.g., C or C++) and experience with hardware and lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in (Bothell, WA) is $99,120 to $158,592

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
