Role overview:

We’re looking for a dynamic, skilled, and highly motivated candidate to join the PlayStation Services team that runs PlayStation Plus – the world’s largest game subscription service. Our business is putting increased emphasis on tracking, understanding, and influencing how customers engage with our subscription and its benefits.

This role specifically sits within the ‘Engagement and Experience’ team who are accountable for ensuring that every PlayStation Plus subscriber gets the most out of their membership, has an enjoyable and fun experience, can access their benefits easily, and develops a loyalty with us which makes them want to maintain their subscription in the years to come.

We’re looking for someone with ambition, ideas, a can-do attitude, and the ability to see things through the eyes of the customer to achieve our challenging vision. This role requires a mix of commercial acumen, being comfortable working with data, excellent storytelling, and a proven ability to balance a diverse range of projects and responsibilities. You’ll help analyse the behaviours of our customer base, be responsible for understanding and furthering the narrative on how and why our subscribers use our service. The right person for this role will enjoy thinking critically to solve complex problems, while specialising in sharing findings and recommendations through clear & presentable formats.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as a strategic storyteller, turning data & analyses into compelling narratives that influence engagement and commercial strategies across PlayStation
  • Identify, size, and communicate opportunities and risks, enabling the services team to drive subscriber value perception with clear, data-backed insights
  • Help us to understand variances to our forecast in a greater level of detail, uncovering key drivers, and working with our insights & planning team to improve future accuracy
  • Lead hypothesis-driven experimentation planning for the Engagement Team, fostering a test-and-learn culture to refine engagement strategies through measurable outcomes
  • Work with our Insights & Analytics team to provide requirements for optimised reporting and dashboards; ensuring insights are accessible, actionable, and impactful
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Content, Insights, and Growth teams to align engagement efforts with broader business goals

What we're looking for:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in relevant roles (such as planning & performance or commercial trading) in which you’ve used a variety of data sources to craft a story
  • Able to efficiently interpret and present recommendations based on complex insights in a clear and actionable manner to relevant partners. Being able to navigate self-serve data and Excel are must-have
  • Capacity to adapt quickly and balance multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think strategically and help shape the future direction of our business, whilst at the same time, show persistent attention to detail and inquisitiveness to find the trends that really matter

Desirable:

  • Experience within the gaming, entertainment or subscription industries
  • Experience working in an international team across time-zones and cultures
