Job Description

This Engineering Internship at NXP Semiconductors in Toulouse, France, focuses on Systems Engineer Energy & Power within the Automotive Systems field. The intern will participate in exploratory lab work on automotive energy network systems, mixing analog & digital hardware, implementing test software for debugging and optimization of energy management at the vehicle level. Responsibilities include using lab equipment, developing embedded software, documenting procedures, and tweaking hardware/software to test boundary conditions.
Good To Have:
  • Knowledge in power management (eFuse, PMIC, DC/DC converters)
Must Have:
  • Use laboratory equipment’s and perform exploration analysis on energy management
  • Develop, integrate and optimize embedded software code as well as test scripts
  • Document test procedures leading to breakthrough system solutions
  • Tweak Hardware and Software to test boundary conditions and corner cases
  • Curious with analog and digital hardware
  • Embedded software development & scripting knowledge
  • Interest in automotive embedded systems based on new OEM architecture
  • Willingness and ability to learn new stuff, trends
  • Team player to keep excellent team spirit and information sharing
  • Good level of English and communication

ASEM (Automotive System Engineering and Marketing global organization)

As part of new NXP System segment, the context of Automotive market moving from a 12V energy network based into a 48V based energy architecture, we are looking for an intern systems engineer supporting new innovative projects specifically to work on NXP energy and power vehicle systems innovations.

Your Responsibilities:

During your internship you will participate in exploratory lab work on systems, mixing analog & digital hardware, implementing test software to debug, track and optimize energy management at vehicle level, solving industry challenges:

  • Use laboratory equipment’s and perform exploration analysis on energy management
  • Develop, integrate and optimize embedded software code as well as test scripts
  • Document test procedures leading to breakthrough system solutions.
  • Tweak Hardware and Software to test boundary conditions and corner cases.

Your profile:

  • Curious with analog and digital hardware, knowledge in power management (eFuse, PMIC, DC/DC converters is a plus)
  • Embedded software development & scripting knowledge
  • Person with interest in automotive embedded systems based on new OEM architecture
  • Willingness and ability to learn new stuff, trends.
  • Team player to keep excellent team spirit and information sharing
  • Good level of English and communication
