Engineering Leader, Planner Modeling Team - Siri

Join Siri as the Engineering Leader of the Planner Modeling Team to redefine the Siri experience. Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to develop the core model that drives the agent’s behavior, deciding when and how to call tools on the user's behalf. Work at the forefront of LLMs, utilizing simulation, evaluation, context engineering, and data generation. This role involves collaboration across teams, including those building the agent’s “toolbox,” search, Response Generation, and Internationalization. Work closely with the Architecture Committee and Evaluation Infrastructure team to align on strategic directives and use simulator-driven evaluations to measure and improve model quality. Benchmark state-of-the-art internal and external models, and perform failure analyses to understand common failure patterns and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
