Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to evolve from traditional IT into a highly technical role that bridges enterprise provisioning with system design-shaping the future of performance and battery life optimization across OEM platforms.

CCE Client Customer Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer with deep expertise in IT provisioning flows and endpoint management to drive performance and battery life optimization across enterprise client platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands how tools like Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and other IT policies shape the behavior of systems during provisioning and in live environments-and who can translate that understanding into actionable insights and solutions.

You'll work closely with IT teams, OEMs, and internal engineering groups to analyze how provisioning packages, security policies, and manageability configurations affect system responsiveness, battery life, and overall user experience. Your work will directly influence the creation of optimized IT images and help identify and resolve inefficiencies in existing deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze IT provisioning flows (e.g., Intune, SCCM) and their impact on system performance and battery life.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to understand policy configurations and their real-world effects on endpoint behavior.
  • Evaluate existing IT images and provisioning packages to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and power drains.
  • Develop recommendations for optimizing provisioning processes, endpoint policies, and system configurations.
  • Create and validate IT provisioning profiles that balance manageability with performance and battery efficiency.
  • Debug IT issues reported by field teams related to system responsiveness, battery life, and policy conflicts.
  • Partner with other engineering teams to align hardware/software capabilities with IT deployment strategies.
  • Document findings and best practices to guide IT administrators in building high-performance, energy-efficient images

The ideal candidate should be:

  • Comfortable working across cross-functional teams and engaging directly with IT stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field and 6+ years of industry experience
