As part of the integrated customer solutions group, the Software Product Manager will manage software engineering activities for products, platforms, or solutions from definition through end of life. Responsibilities include collaborating with architects and development teams to evaluate requirements, validate definitions, and resolve gaps. The role also involves formulating product strategies, identifying new opportunities, influencing executive decisions, and aligning program milestones using technical expertise and business acumen.
Good To Have:
  • Post graduate degree in Software Engineering, Program or Project Management, or in a STEM related field of study.
  • Experience developing a customer portal or enhancing customer experience.
  • PMI PMP certification.
  • Experience managing complex projects with highly matrixed teams across multiple geographies.
  • Experience working with a semiconductor foundry or OSAT.
  • Experience managing project costs, schedule, and/or risk management.
  • Experience collaborating and leading across all levels of the organization (executive to Individual contributor).
  • Experience utilizing program management execution methods around, schedule creation and tracking, risk management definition, tracking and mitigation, resource planning, team minutes creation, AR tracking, etc.
  • Experience working independently and leading teams, prioritizing tasks, navigating and adapting in a fast-evolving and ambiguous business environment.
  • Stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with software product development, product marketing, or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience managing effective external customer relationships and managing internal stakeholders.

As part of the integrated customer solutions group focusing on developing a world class customer portal, the successful candidate manages software engineering activities for a product, platform, solution, service, or group of products through one or more phases, including product definition and planning through execution, production, and end of life.

In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Work closely with architects and product development teams across multiple engineering disciplines and/or software layers to evaluate the feasibility of requirements, validate product definitions, and resolve gaps to achieve engineering commitment with input from internal and external customers.
  • Use technical expertise, business acumen, and industry experience to formulate product strategies, identify new product opportunities, influence executive decisions, and align program milestones.
  • May serve as the central resource with development, testing, quality, sales, and/or marketing as the products move to production and distribution, including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the software product(s), platforms, or software defined solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, or in a STEM related field of study or in a Business-related discipline. i.e. Program or Project Management etc.
  • 5+ years of experience as a product or program manager, engineer or team leader of technical engineering discipline.
  • Experience managing complex projects with highly matrixed teams across multiple geographies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post graduate degree in Software Engineering, Program or Project Management, or in a STEM related field of study.
