We are looking for a specialist or developer with strong expertise in design and programming in AVEVA System Platform. At AFRY, we are specialists in process design, automation of systems, and solutions for food, beverages, and food ingredients. About the job

In the Food Digitalisation team, we work with automation for some of the world's largest food producers. We are looking for a colleague for either our office in Aarhus or Kolding. You will become part of a professional environment with a focus on knowledge sharing and good collaboration. Your daily life will be characterized by good colleagues, professional challenges, and great autonomy.

Our platform, AVEVA, plays a central role in making data available for reporting and production intelligence. You will be responsible for development, support, and daily operations within the AVEVA platform. In this role, you will program, advise, execute, and develop tasks within the AVEVA platform for design projects, typically within food production. It is therefore crucial for this position that you have practical experience from a previous position working in AVEVA or other HMI systems.

You will, among other things, work with:

• design, programming, and configuration in AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware) and MS-SQL
• development of code in both large and small environments – often according to the customer's or our own standards
• testing and commissioning of automation projects
• customer contact and communication of technical knowledge internally and externally
• contributing with your technical background as an engineer, marine engineer, or similar
• collaboration and knowledge sharing across disciplines

Qualifications

We imagine that you have:

• minimum 2 years of experience with AVEVA System Platform
• good understanding of IT and networks
• a relevant technical education
• knowledge of object-oriented design and programming
• interest in how projects work in practice
• a certification in AVEVA products (not a requirement).

We also prefer that you are detail-oriented, structured, and quality-conscious. You take ownership and work independently, but also thrive in teams and project-oriented environments with tight deadlines.
