This Financial Analyst role at Aptiv involves coordinating, preparing, and analyzing financial forecasts and budgets, reporting, and managing financial variances. The position also includes handling SOX and audit queries, driving process standardization and automation through digital transformation, and assisting with ad-hoc projects. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IT, with a minimum of 5 years of FP&A and process improvement experience, preferably in manufacturing, and strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills.
Must Have:- Co-ordinate, prepare and analyse forecasts/budgets and prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
- Analyses financial variances and pro-actively host meetings with local departments and regional teams to review and discuss monthly forecast performance
- Manage SOX and internal/external audit queries
- Drives standardization, optimization and automation of key finance processes through digital transformation initiatives.
- Works with various department business process owners to review existing systems and process, as well as identify process-related issues to be automated and integrated as part of improving the overall operational efficiency and compliance to audit requirements.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of FP&A and process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel, Access, Data automation and Data analysis
- Experience working in a highly complex environment and with good conceptualization on work flow and system processes
- Strong team player who is meticulous and self-motivated, processes strong analytical skills, and is able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
