SailPoint is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Administrator for its Financial Systems team. This role involves extensive financial systems administration and service management, focusing on enhancing and maintaining the security, data, and application integrity of core financial systems like NetSuite. The successful candidate will manage production support, system configurations, ensure compliance with IT security and regulatory standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business and IT objectives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Must have:
  • Administer and maintain core financial systems (NetSuite).
  • Manage and resolve production support issues.
  • Implement small enhancements and configuration changes.
  • Own system configurations (fields, workflows, roles/permissions, custom rules, reports, scripts, dashboards).
  • Align system capabilities with business roadmaps.
  • Respond to and resolve business incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security and regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR).
  • Analyze root causes of system issues and develop solutions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives (integrations, upgrades, process improvements).
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support data analysis and reporting for finance teams.
  • Proactively identify blockers and implement creative solutions.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and system performance.
  • Minimum 3 years experience administering financial systems (NetSuite, Oracle).
  • In-depth understanding of Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/Finance production support.
  • Proficient in NetSuite reporting tools.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • NetSuite Certification (Administrator or Financial User)

This individual will have extensive experience in financial systems administration and service management. The successful candidate will bring a strong customer service approach to enhancing and maintaining the security, data and application integrity and performance of our applications. Additionally, this position will participate in the delivery of IT services and projects and ensure internal client satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of financial systems operations, SaaS applications, security, compliance, and the operational aspects of finance teams to drive business and IT objectives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain core financial systems, including NetSuite and other integrated platforms.
  • Manage and resolve production support issues; implement small enhancements and configuration changes.
  • Own system configurations: manage fields, workflows, roles/permissions, custom rules, reports, scripts, and dashboards.
  • Align system capabilities with business roadmaps and strategic goals.
  • Respond to and resolve business incidents and service requests promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, Information Security).
  • Analyze root causes of system issues and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving system integrations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides and support procedures.
  • Support data analysis and reporting needs for finance and back-office teams.
  • Proactively identify potential blockers and implement creative solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, support tasks, and system performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience administering financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle).
  • In-depth understanding of Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/Finance production support, particularly with NetSuite.
  • Proficient in NetSuite reporting tools, including saved searches and custom reports.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial operations, and IT compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, Information Security).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 3-5+ years of experience is preferred, but not required.
  • NetSuite Certification (Administrator or Financial User) is a plus.
