Freelance Game Translators - Chinese to Arabic

We are seeking to hire freelance Game Translators and Proofreaders for a short-term contract lasting until the end of January 2025.
The role involves post-editing machine translation and/or proofreading for a Chinese MMORPG.

• Working days/ hours are from Sunday - Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM Jordan time.
• The translation tasks will be performed using “MemoQ Web” - Experience with MemoQ is a must.
• Translators are expected to create a term base and continuously populate it based on their translation.
• Comprehensive translation guidelines will be provided to support your work.
• The daily post-editing word count target is set at 6000-9000 Chinese characters - tasks are expected to be delivered daily.

• Demonstrated experience in translation, preferably in the context of RPG and MMORPG Chinese mobile games.
• Ability to effectively post-edit machine-translated content to ensure accuracy, coherence, and natural language flow.
• Excellent command of Arabic grammar is a must.
• Ability to identify and choose the best translation for key terms.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the quality and consistency of translations.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and working within a specified time frame.
