Intel's Graphics IP team is seeking an experienced Pre-Silicon RTL Design and Verification Engineer. This role involves developing verification strategies, test plans, and complex testbenches, including sequence, agent, monitor, scoreboard, transactor, and coverage development. Responsibilities also include feature validation, functional and code coverage closure, and debugging design and performance bottlenecks in simulation, emulation, and post-silicon. The engineer will ensure validation sign-off meets all required matrices and influence design teams for appropriate changes.

  • Perform feature validation with functional and code coverage closure.
  • Develop functional verification strategy and test plans.
  • Debug and root cause design bugs (simulation, emulation, post-silicon).
  • Debug and root cause performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure validation sign-off meets all required matrices.
  • 2+ years (Master's) or 3+ years (Bachelor's) in Electronics/Computer Engineering.
  • Proficiency in System Verilog and UVM.
  • Experience in feature verification, testbench development, and coverage execution.
  • Experience in assertion-based verification.
  • Exposure to CPU or GPU Architecture.
  • Debug experience with frontend design and verification flows.

Job Role:

  • Verification involving sequence, agent, monitor, scoreboard, transactor, and coverage development for complex testbench.
  • Feature validation with functional and code coverage closure.
  • Develop functional verification strategy and test plans for the features.
  • Debug and root cause bugs in the design at all levels - simulation, emulation, and post-silicon.
  • Debug and root cause performance bottlenecks in the design and influence the Arch and micro-arch design teams on appropriate changes to the design.
  • Ensure that validation sign off meets all the required matrices of coverage, pass rates, performance criterion as well as feature goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master with 2+ and Bachelor with 3+ years of Engineering degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with experience in silicon design development.
  • Well versed with System Verilog and UVM
  • Experience in feature verification - testbench development, and coverage execution.
  • Experience in assertion-based verification.
  • Exposure to CPU or GPU Architecture (Computer Architecture Knowledge)
  • Debug Experience with industry standard frontend design and verification flows, tools, and methodology.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with continuous learning mindset.
  • Be willing to balance multiple tasks.
  • Prior experience in IP development teams would be an added advantage.
