The Mickey & Friends Graphic Design & Branding Intern is responsible for crafting and producing Graphic Design assets from concept to final artwork. Will focus on licensing creative style guide development for the Mickey & Friends for Consumer Products. The Graphic Design Intern will be part of a larger team crafting multiple style guides each season in support of Licensing business strategies! This is a 6 month Internship from January-June 2026 with full-time commitment in the Glendale, CA area. Develop Graphic Design & Branding for licensing creative style guides and portfolios across the Mickey & Friends franchise. Design assets include graphics, patterns, and icons. Build POV boards to set direction and tone for style guide projects. Provide direction and collaborate with the editorial and character art teams.
Must have:
  • Proficiency in graphic design, layout, typography and color theory skills
  • Proven strength in traditional and digital drawing skills
  • Strong creative vision and awareness of fashion and market trends across all demographics
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects meeting tight deadlines
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available during regular business hours from Monday-Friday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Keynote

The Mickey & Friends Graphic Design & Branding Intern is responsible for crafting and producing Graphic Design assets from concept to final artwork. What You Will Do:

  • Develop Graphic Design & Branding for licensing creative style guides and portfolios across the Mickey & Friends franchise. Design assets include graphics, patterns, and icons.
  • Build POV boards to set direction and tone for style guide projects
  • Provide direction and collaborate with the editorial and character art teams
  • Prepare keynotes and present POV boards and designs
  • Create designs and product mockups for pitch deck presentations
  • Complete file production cleanup for final art delivery
  • Maintain Graphic Design standards that meet brand guidelines and strategies

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design, layout, typography and color theory skills
  • Proven strength in traditional and digital drawing skills
  • Strong creative vision and awareness of fashion and market trends across all demographics (all family, young adult, gen z, tween, kids)
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects meeting tight deadlines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Keynote

Required Materials:

Education:

  • Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Art and Design, Illustration or other related fields

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available during regular business hours from Monday-Friday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
