Job Description

Zelis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FP&A Professional to join its India finance team, supporting both India operations and global initiatives. This role involves developing and executing robust financial planning strategies, delivering strategic financial insights to senior leadership, overseeing the annual budgeting process, driving proactive forecasting efforts, and conducting detailed financial analysis. The professional will collaborate with various departments, act as a liaison, continuously evaluate and streamline FP&A processes, and lead a high-performing FP&A team.
Must Have:
  • Develop and execute robust financial planning strategies aligned with overall company goals.
  • Deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring both accuracy and alignment with corporate targets.
  • Drive proactive forecasting efforts to anticipate trends and risks.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Present financial findings in clear, compelling formats to senior management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect data essential for accurate financial reporting.
  • Act as a liaison between FP&A and other business functions to ensure alignment and communication locally and the US teams.
  • Continuously evaluate and streamline FP&A processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and leverage tools like Workday Financials or Adaptive Insights where relevant.
  • Delivering actionable insights to senior management.
  • Enhancing FP&A processes with modern technology tools, Gen AI, automation etc.
  • Working in a collaborative, fast-paced cross-functional environment.
  • Business partnering & Stakeholder management.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing FP&A team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Hold MBA/CA/other finance professional degree.
  • Possess 12+ years of experience in handling FP&A roles, and Over 5 years in a senior FP&A role with demonstrated leadership track record and team handling.
  • Working knowledge of sophisticated ERP environments – WD preferable, not mandatory.
  • Strong technical skills on FP&A.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Possess strong organizational abilities and be a self-starter.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Strong technology adoption mindset, Gen AI and other automation tools.
  • Strong Analytical skills & Executive presence.
  • Change management and able to adopt & implement change quickly.

work environment:
