Position Summary

The HR Operations & Compensation Manager is responsible for managing core areas of the HR function, including compensation, HR data and reporting, policy compliance, and shared services. This role ensures competitive and fair pay practices, delivers meaningful HR analytics, and maintains operational excellence across HR processes. The manager also leads the development and enforcement of HR policies to ensure legal compliance and alignment with company values. This role plays a key part in supporting business decisions through data insights and ensuring a consistent, efficient, and compliant employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation Management
  • Participate in and manage compensation surveys, providing insights into market pay trends and benchmarks.
  • Conduct salary analyses and internal pay reviews to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Provide data-driven salary recommendations (e.g., salary ranges, pay positioning) to support talent decisions and align with broader people strategies.
  • Support the annual compensation review cycle and collaborate with HRBPs to ensure compensation practices uphold the principle of “right people, right pay.”
  • HR Data, Reporting & Analytics
  • Oversee HRIS operations to ensure data integrity, privacy, and security.
  • Supervise the preparation and delivery of regular HR reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and high quality.
  • Lead and actively contribute to the development and analysis of HR analytics reports to generate workforce insights that support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • HR Policies & Compliance
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in alignment with company values, business needs, and legal requirements.
  • Monitor employment legislation and regulatory changes to ensure HR practices remain compliant with local labor laws and data protection regulations.
  • Provide guidance to HRBPs, managers, and employees on policy interpretation and application.
  • Lead internal HR compliance audits and support external audits or regulatory inspections as needed.
  • HR Shared Services
  • Lead the HR shared services team to deliver timely, accurate, and consistent employee services, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, employee relocations, and more.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization across HR operations, with a focus on automation, scalability, and data accuracy.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Lead or participate in key HR initiatives, projects, and cross-functional programs as needed to support organizational goals and transformation efforts.
