The position is attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the proper functioning of all HUG, concerning catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and linen hygiene. It also manages the sterilization service, the biomedical and equipment service, and Cressy-Santé. More than 1,300 professionals carry out their daily missions with a constant concern for excellence, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
The Linen Processing and Distribution Service offers a complete laundry service that includes the supply and distribution of linen and professional clothing. Patients from certain sites and external clients can also benefit from these services.

As an industrial maintenance technician, you independently perform all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production lines for washing, drying, folding, and transporting hospital linen, as well as installation work requested and organized by hierarchical managers.
You ensure the monitoring and supervision of production machines, ensuring compliance with current deadlines, standards, and directives, particularly regarding hygiene and safety. You regularly report on your work to your hierarchy and using the IT tools and databases provided.
You report all malfunctions, damages, or technical anomalies to your hierarchy or appropriate persons, or through the means provided.
You master mechanical interventions, for example, replacing mechanical transmission chains, bearings, or conveyor belts for articles. You have knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Ideally holding OIBT art13 authorization, you will be required to work on electrotechnical equipment (frequency converters, BT control electrical cabinets, various detection cells, etc.).
You are comfortable with HMI-type computer interfaces for programming line processing equipment (folding robot, industrial dryers, etc.) and have notions of industrial automation and IT.
You update technical documentation and perform maintenance and cleaning of tools, premises, and assigned machines.
Additionally, you participate, as needed, in stock management and the preparation of material requests.
You are interested in the evolution of techniques and transmit your knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications

You hold a CFC in automation, automatician-assembler, or polytechnician, or an equivalent qualification, and have at least 2 years of experience in the field. Knowledge of the laundry environment is an asset.
Your key skills are autonomy, helpfulness, and team spirit.
You are open to attending training courses to stay up-to-date or to develop your skills as part of a continuous improvement approach.

Rotating work schedules: 5:30 AM-2:30 PM or 9 AM-6 PM with possible extensions of time slots.
Weekend work may be required occasionally.
This position requires the ability to work across all HUG sites to perform specific tasks and to intervene outside regular working hours if necessary.
