The Consumer Interactive team at TransUnion is seeking an Industry Executive to drive new business and revenue goals in the rapidly expanding Commercial market. Must Have:
  • Minimum 7 years selling data, software, or analytic solutions in complex enterprise sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and driving new pipeline growth.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in consumer credit industry, understanding landscape, regulations, and competition.
  • Demonstrated ability to build C-level partnerships and interface effectively.
  • Major account experience in matrix environments, navigating large organizations.
  • Expertise in identifying buyers, influencers, and closing business.
  • Knowledge of the Commercial industry, specifically consumer credit and identity protection offerings.
  • Proven customer engagement skills: prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating, closing.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.

What We'll Bring:

Our Consumer Interactive team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Industry Executive, supporting our Commercial business. This hunter sales position is accountable for achieving annual new business and revenue goals through relationship development, opportunity prioritization, consultative sales, and superior negotiation and closing skills. This key role will be responsible for prospecting and selling our credit and identity protection solutions in the rapidly expanding Commercial market.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 7 years selling data, software and/or analytic solutions in a complex enterprise sales environment; with a proven track record of success meeting sales quotas and driving new pipeline growth
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the consumer credit industry with a strong grasp on the industry landscape, regulatory conditions and competition
  • Proven track record of building partnerships and interfacing at the C-level. In addition, major account experience in a matrix environment with expertise in navigating large complex organizations, identifying buyers, influencers, and closing business
  • Demonstrated experience within and/or knowledge of the Commercial industry specifically as it relates to consumer credit and identity protection offerings
  • Proven customer engagement skills including prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating and closing business
  • Bachelor’s degree in from an accredited college or university or the equivalent in experience
  • This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management

Impact You'll Make:

  • In this role, you will engage in prospecting activities including outbound communications, in-person meetings, and attending trade shows & conferences to create revenue generating opportunities.
  • Own your vertical market and develop and execute a territory plan to prioritize your focus on high-potential prospects. Develop Account Plans for the top targets.
  • Manage and drive existing pipeline through the sales opportunity lifecycle: pipeline generation, discovery, presentation, negotiation and deal close with an emphasis on demonstrating value and ROI.
  • In the pursuit of new sales opportunities, you will leverage and partner with our Solutions and Lines of Business colleagues to ensure Voice of Customer and product innovation.
  • Promote communication, team building, personal development, customer directed innovation and other traits to project and strengthen the culture of the company

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $78,100.00 - $123,000.00 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% – 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
