Let's start with the role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role on our team, responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our core server and storage infrastructure. You will work directly with various engineering and product teams to translate business needs into scalable and reliable technical solutions. You will be a hands-on contributor, focused on automating and improving processes across our large server environment.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Infrastructure Engineer who is eager to contribute to a dynamic and evolving environment. You will have the opportunity to architect and implement new technologies while sharing ideas and solving complex problems daily.

As an infrastructure engineer, you will

• Provision and manage infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and clusters, to meet project requirements.
• Monitor system performance, perform tuning, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate the deployment and configuration of new hardware.
• Expand and maintain our on-premise infrastructure based on business needs and growth.
• Ensure 24/7 availability of production servers and applications, serving as a primary point of contact for infrastructure-related matters.
• Manage and interact with external partners who provide infrastructure setup and maintenance services.
• Contribute to operational best practices and maintain positive, cooperative relationships with all stakeholders.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience working as a Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer, preferably in a medium to large organization.
• Strong understanding of virtual environments, with hands-on experience using VMware.
• Solid understanding of servers, storage, networking, and related systems.
• A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools to improve processes.
• Experience supporting production systems within a change control framework..
• Experience in a highly demanding, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShellKnowledge of OpenShift.
