Integrations Engineering Lead
Job Description
- Exposure to Applied GenAI, LLMOps, and healthcare AI deployments.
- Experience with Applied GenAI, LLMOps, and LLM evaluations.
- Lead integrations development across FHIR, HL7, APIs, and RPA-based solutions.
- Design and implement core infrastructure for connecting to EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Athena, DrChrono, eCW, Healthie, Practice Fusion, etc.).
- Partner closely with co-founders to set integration strategy and make build vs. buy decisions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements, define workflows, and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Hire, mentor, and scale the integrations engineering function as the company grows.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to bridge integrations with applied GenAI systems.
- Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Proven experience integrating with multiple EHR systems across SMB and enterprise environments.
- Hands-on work with FHIR, HL7, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and hybrid/on-prem systems.
- Experience building with RPA frameworks (Selenium or similar).
- Background in customer-facing engineering roles, gathering requirements and translating them into technical deliverables.

What You'll Do
As our Lead Integrations Engineer , you’ll own the technical design and execution of how Sully.ai connects with the healthcare ecosystem. You’ll be the hands-on architect and builder responsible for creating scalable, secure, and reliable integrations with a wide variety of EHR systems —from SMB tools to enterprise-grade platforms.
You will:
- Lead integrations development across FHIR, HL7, APIs, and RPA-based solutions (e.g., Selenium).
- Design and implement core infrastructure for connecting to EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Athena, DrChrono, eCW, Healthie, Practice Fusion, etc.).
