The SPE Intern program offers unique opportunities for students to gain real-world experience. This Fall Internship, from September to December 12th, requires 10-29 hours/week onsite in Culver City, California. The International Marketing Partnerships team secures marketing partnerships to drive film awareness and box office results. The intern will support campaign execution, brainstorm new partnerships, assist with status reports, track global campaign activity, create wrap reports, and liaise with international and domestic teams.
Must have:
  • Support International Marketing Partnerships team in executing partner campaigns.
  • Brainstorm ideas for brands/categories for future marketing partnerships.
  • Assist with status documents for secured and potential partner deals.
  • Track and capture global, regional, and local activity of campaigns.
  • Create wrap reports for promotional campaigns.
  • Liaise with international offices on monthly status sales calls and regional agency calls.
  • Collaborate with Domestic Partnerships and Global Partnerships Execution team on projects.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Proficient in internet research with office experience.
  • Proven interest in international markets.
  • Flexible and able to prioritize.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under tight time constraints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and passion for film.

SPE INTERN:

Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Fall Internship is from September through December 12th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

International Marketing Partnerships is responsible for securing meaningful marketing partnerships with strategically appropriate brands to help drive awareness of SPE’s slate of films and build box office results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, the intern will support the International Marketing Partnerships team executing partner campaigns in support of our Fall 2025 releases, help brainstorm ideas for brands or categories that would be good fits for marketing partnerships on future titles and assist with status documents reporting secured and potential partner deals. They will be instrumental in tracking and capturing global, regional, and local activity of all campaigns and creating a wrap report to present the full Promotional campaign for that title. Our intern will also liaise with our international offices on all monthly status sales calls, regional agency calls, and the Domestic Partnerships and Global Partnerships Execution team on various projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Proficient in internet research with experience in an office setting
  • Proven interest in working with international markets
  • Flexible and able to prioritize within fluid situations
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under tight time constraints
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with colleagues internationally
  • Knowledge and passion for film

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
