The WRI Brazil is looking for an intern to support project management and event organization within the Cities team.
Main activities and/or responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Support activities in the Project Management Office (PMO), providing support to Project Coordinators and Managers;
- Support the monitoring and execution of processes with technical teams, participating in all phases of the project life cycle (Kick-Off, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, Closing);
- Assist in the creation and periodic updating of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations related to the Cities Program's project portfolio;
- Assist in the implementation of new processes and tools or their continuous improvement for the proper functioning of the PMO and Project Management.
- Logistical support for the program directorate in institutional trips.
Event Organization:
- Support event logistics, from planning to execution, assisting in the organization of checklists and activity schedules.
- Assist in communication and coordination between internal teams and suppliers.
- Support the organization and control of event budgets, monitoring costs and performing simple expense controls.
- Act in the collection and organization of post-event feedback, ensuring proper documentation of activities performed.
- Assist in updating data and reports on executed events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently studying between the 5th and 7th semester of graduation in Administration, Information Systems, Managerial Processes, Engineering, Financial Management, International Relations or related fields.
- Availability of 25 hours per week for internship.
- Basic knowledge of project management is desirable.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal communication and ease of working in a team.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Proactivity, willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Basic knowledge of agile methodologies is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of project management tools (like Asana) is desirable.
- Basic or intermediate English is a plus.
