Job Description
Square Enix Information Systems Department is responsible for the management and operation of various IT environments related to the business.
We are responsible for the introduction and operation of infrastructure in a wide range of areas, from corporate systems such as terminals, networks, and groupware used by employees, to development environments specialized for game development and design, and commercial systems including overseas operations for online titles such as Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Quest X.
In a very broad scope of work that requires a sense of speed, you will be responsible for a core role in managing IT investments, including managing and organizing IT investments, contract work, various internal and external adjustments, reporting and explanations to management, and cross-departmental project management.
Specific job duties: (You will work in cooperation with other members.)
- IT department budget formulation and actual vs. budget management
- Organization and analysis of IT investment performance data, allocation support
- Operation support tasks (support for hundreds of procurement processes per month)
- Procurement tasks (approval, purchase, invoice processing, contract handling)
- Personnel management and other general affairs related to department operations
- Various coordination and communication tasks with internal departments/projects
- Creation of reports and statements for CIO, CFO, and CEO
- Cross-departmental project management

Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced Excel skills (proficient in functions, pivot tables, and reporting)
- Experience in business improvement using numerical analysis
- Experience in internal coordination involving other departments
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Work experience in an IT-related company (understanding IT terms helps with quick comprehension)
- Basic knowledge of corporate accounting (e.g., Commercial Bookkeeping Level 3 to beginner level)
- Project management experience
- Experience in planning, proposing, and executing business improvements (e.g., efficiency improvements using AI functions)
- Basic knowledge and experience regarding contracts (training provided if no experience)
- English proficiency (conversation is not required to be fluent; ability to read English contracts and communicate via email with overseas contacts is sufficient)
