Playnetic is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer for its iGaming team in Cyprus. This hybrid role involves providing first-line technical support to internal users across multiple locations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, and handling support tickets. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience with Windows/MacOS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and ticketing systems, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Must have:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with laptops, printers, smartphones.
  • Support Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, VPN.
  • Maintain IT assets and manage inventory.
  • Manage support tickets using JIRA Service Desk or FreshService.
  • Monitor system/application alerts, perform health checks.
  • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support.
  • Proficiency with Windows and MacOS.
  • Experience supporting remote and in-office users.

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced world of iGaming. You will be the first line of support for internal users across multiple locations, ensuring that systems, devices, and networks are operating smoothly and securely.

The role requires technical expertise, a keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency.

Location - This role will be based in Cyprus and initially require 5 days in the office per week, once onboarded and comfortable, the role will switch to a hybrid model with flexibility!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, printers and smartphones.
  • Support Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, VPN and related applications.
  • Support and maintain IT assets, including inventory management, collection from departing employees, and preparation for new starters.
  • Manage support tickets using JIRA Service Desk or FreshService
  • Monitor system and application alerts, perform routine health checks, and resolve issues where possible.
  • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams as necessary, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 1+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
  • Proficiency with Windows and MacOS operating systems and hardware troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with IT ticketing systems JIRA Service Desk, FreshService, or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, MDM/MAM solutions, Intune, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, and AutoPilot.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Experience supporting remote and in-office users
