The manager will report to the COO, collaborate cross-functionally, and implement process improvements, directly impacting business operations.
Must have:

  • 3+ years of project management experience in technology or B2B.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency using Jira for project planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience creating detailed project plans.
  • Demonstrated competence in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Details

We’re looking for a motivated and detailed‑oriented Operations Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will manage a diverse portfolio of projects that enhance our operational efficiency and support our rapid growth. You will take initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. This role is ideal for a self‑starter who brings order to complex initiatives and enjoys seeing their work directly impact the business. You will report directly to the COO and collaborate closely with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

Active Project Management & Delivery

  • Drive hands‑on project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Remove blockers and facilitate timely decision‑making to keep initiatives on track.
  • Diagnose issues and implement recovery plans when projects slip off schedule. Develop detailed project scope, objectives, milestones, resources and deliverables.

Proactive Reporting & Communication

  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with senior leadership and stakeholders. Provide regular status updates, including RAG status and risk assessments.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early using a formal risk management plan. Leverage project management software (such as Jira) to track tasks and progress.

Project Leadership

  • Lead the full project lifecycle for a variety of initiatives, including workplace and facilities, corporate IT infrastructure changes, operational excellence, documentation and knowledge management, efficiency and productivity enhancements, support desk improvements, and event operations.
  • Define clear project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Assign tasks based on team members’ strengths and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Stakeholder & Cross‑Department Management

  • Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Legal and other departments to ensure alignment and timely decision‑making. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate plans, progress and risks effectively.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives across the organization, focusing on efficiency, cost savings and quality enhancements.
  • Analyze workflows and operational data to propose and implement improvements. Drive initiatives to improve documentation, knowledge sharing and tool utilization.

Team Empowerment & Development

  • Provide clear roles and expectations for team members, giving them autonomy and decision‑making ability within their area.
  • Offer opportunities for skill development through training, workshops and new responsibilities. Recognize and celebrate achievements individually and as a team.
  • Foster an environment where team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, concerns and feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have Hard Skills

  • 3+ years of project management experience in a fast‑paced technology or B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from IT infrastructure upgrades to process improvements.
  • Proficiency using Jira for project planning, tracking and reporting.
  • Experience creating detailed project plans with defined scope, milestones and resource allocations.
  • Demonstrated competence in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and status reporting.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Experience in the gaming, software or digital entertainment industry.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certification).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous but not mandatory.

Certifications & Tools

  • Jira: Project planning, backlog management and reporting.
  • Confluence: Documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • MS Office / Google Workspace: Presentations, spreadsheets and communication.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira Service Management) and HR tools (e.g. PeopleForce) is a plus.
