Job Description

This role involves assisting with in-game and external text proofreading and translation, ensuring accuracy, authenticity, and cultural appropriateness. Responsibilities also include supporting voice-over supervision and audio acceptance to maintain text-audio consistency. The intern will participate in LQA testing to ensure final localization quality, providing optimization solutions for identified issues. Additionally, the role requires monitoring player feedback and online communities to suggest effective localization improvements.
Must have:

  • Support voice-over supervision and audio acceptance, ensuring text-audio consistency.
  • Participate in LQA testing to ensure final localization quality and provide translation optimization solutions.
  • Monitor player ecosystem and online feedback, proposing effective localization modification suggestions.
Good to have:
  • Japanese major or overseas study experience
  • Rich experience in female-oriented and open-world games
  • Internship experience in game localization
  • Familiarity with CAT tools (MemoQ/Xbench, etc.)

1. Assist with in-game and external text proofreading and translation, ensuring accuracy, authenticity, and no cultural risks.

2. Assist with voice-over supervision, audio acceptance, and other tasks, ensuring consistency between text and audio.

3. Participate in LQA testing to ensure the final quality of localization, and provide effective translation optimization solutions for identified issues.

4. Pay attention to the player ecosystem and online feedback, and propose effective localization modification suggestions.

Job Requirements

1. Proficient in Japanese language (N1 level or above), Japanese major or overseas study experience preferred, Bachelor's degree or above.

2. Rich experience in female-oriented and open-world games preferred.

3. Internship experience in game localization and familiarity with CAT tools (MemoQ/Xbench, etc.) preferred.

4. At least 4 days attendance per week, with an internship period of at least 3 months.

5. Strong ability to withstand pressure and time management awareness, with the ability to independently retrieve information.
