Job Description

The Jr Logistic Analyst will be responsible for performing logistics and supply functions, including material purchasing, production planning, inventory control, and distribution. This role involves managing an effective inventory system, creating integrated processes across internal functions and external suppliers, and focusing on continuous improvement in material movement. Key tasks include organizing external warehouse containers, monitoring local supplier collections, and invoicing critical parts for export. The analyst will also promote alignment by communicating customer needs.
Must have:
  • Perform logistics and supply functions, including material purchasing, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, supplier selection, and distribution.
  • Manage an effective system that meets the organization's inventory needs through the efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts, and/or finished products.
  • Create integrated processes within internal functions such as operations, purchasing, logistics, and external suppliers.
  • Focus resources on continuous improvement of material movement through various production processes and establish key performance measures and benchmarks.
  • Promote alignment through understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.
  • Act in the External Warehouse flow, organizing the containers that must be collected and delivered to the plant.
  • Monitor collection and delivery from local suppliers.
  • Perform the invoicing process for critical parts for export.
Good to have:
  • Power-Bi (Desirable)
  • English – Intermediate (Advanced will be considered a differential).

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Perform logistics and supply functions, which may include, but are not limited to, material purchasing, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, supplier selection, and distribution.
  • Manage an effective system that meets the organization's inventory needs through the efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts, and/or finished products.
  • Create integrated processes within internal functions such as operations, purchasing, logistics, and external suppliers.
  • Focus resources on continuous improvement of material movement through various production processes and establish key performance measures and benchmarks related to supply chain planning/forecasting to regularly measure current performance against objectives.
  • Promote alignment through understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.
  • Act in the External Warehouse flow, organizing containers to be collected and delivered to the plant.
  • Monitor collection and delivery from local suppliers.
  • Perform the invoicing process for critical parts for export.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proactivity and sense of urgency.
  • Data-driven analytical capacity.
  • Communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal areas.
  • Continuous improvement vision.

Software:

  • SAP
  • Advanced Office Package
  • Power-Bi (Desirable)

Experience:

  • Experience in the logistics sector;
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers;
  • Experience in the Automotive sector;
  • Experience in Importation;
  • Experience in invoicing parts for export;
  • Experience in national transport flow;

Education:

  • Currently studying in the last year or complete graduation in Logistics, Administration, or Engineering

Languages:

  • English – Intermediate (Advanced will be considered a differential).

Work Model:

  • Hybrid
  • Availability to work in the second shift, if necessary.

Workplace:

  • NBA – Resende, RJ;

Business Travel:

  • Availability for occasional travel within the sector.
