Must have:
  • Resolve employee payroll inquiries and distribute payroll communications
  • Support payroll operations and ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulations
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries and audit documentation
  • Collaborate with HR, benefits, and finance teams to maintain payroll accuracy
  • Participate in system integrations, testing, and payroll KPI reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Accounting
  • 4 to 6 years of payroll experience in a large organization (U.S. and Canada preferred)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (TOEIC score above 700 preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll/accounting systems
Good to have:
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or SAP payroll systems
  • Bilingual communication skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. payroll processing, tax, and garnishment; Canadian payroll preferred
  • Ability to reconcile payroll records with general ledger accounts
  • Experience conducting internal audits and preparing documentation for external audits

We are currently looking for a Sr Specialist Payroll US & Canada to join our team in Nissan HQ (CDMX) This role is essential to ensuring accurate payroll operations, financial compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

A Day in the Life:

  • Resolve employee payroll inquiries and distribute payroll communications
  • Support payroll operations and ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulations

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Accounting
  • 4 to 6 years of payroll experience in a large organization (U.S. and Canada preferred).
