Job Description

The Jr Mgr Own Fleet Local is responsible for maintaining the company's fleet as a highly competitive division, executing short and medium-term strategies, and optimizing logistics flows. This role involves planning and projecting budgets, achieving organizational targets, and establishing administrative processes to improve quality and mitigate risks. The manager will also ensure high safety standards, maintain optimal operative condition of fixed assets, and support manufacturing production plans through efficient fleet management.
Must have:
  • Maintaining own fleet as a highly competitive division vs. rental carrier lines
  • Strategies execution (short and medium term) and decision making focused on the business
  • Search expansion opportunities and current logistics flows optimization
  • Execute annual strategy to achieve WTBC and getting the best results
  • Focus and monitoring on continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Cost and Time objectives
  • Planning and projecting the budget for all necessary resources to operate optimally and rationally
  • Achieve organization targets and special projects related to logistics and manufacturing operations
  • Establish and improve administrative processes to improve quality, control points and risk mitigation
  • Promote and secure the highest quality standards and safety for ground transportation
  • Maintain fixed assets (Trucks and Trailers) in optimal operative condition
  • Supporting manufacturing production plan through optimal own fleet management
  • Define and Review Technical specifications within renewal process to warranty best equipment acquisition and optimal fleet quantity
  • Business case development to warranty that own fleet is used in the best way on most beneficial logistics flows
  • Strategic projects execution and supervision

Job Details

  • Strategies execution (short and medium term) and decision making focused on the business.

  • Focus and monitoring on continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Cost and Time objectives.
  • Planning and projecting the budget for all necessary resources to operate optimally and rationally without detracting any current indicator or regulations.
  • To achieve organization targets and special projects related to logistics and manufacturing operations.
  • Establish and improve administrative processes to improve quality, control points and risk mitigation.

  • Maintain fixed assets (Trucks and Trailers) in optimal operative condition to obtain maximum benefits from their use.
