Job Description
The Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant provides support and care for every aspect of the kids ministry. Responsibilities include selecting and equipping a volunteer team, ensuring weekend resources are prepared, supporting weekend and midweek programming, contributing to team initiative development, attending meetings, and serving as a PHASE expert. This part-time position requires availability on weekends and some weeknights.
Good To Have:
- Experience in kids ministry as staff or volunteer.
- College degree or degree in progress, a focus in education/ministry is a plus.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant provides support and care for every aspect of the kids ministry.
JOB DUTIES:
- Involved in selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
- Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
- Supporting weekend and midweek programming as directed.
- Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.
- Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.
- Serve as a PHASE expert.
EDUCATION:
- College graduate or a degree in progress; a focus in education/ministry is a plus.
- Experienced with 1 year in a kids’ ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.
JOB SPECS:
Classification: Part-time, Hourly (non-exempt) position including weekends and some week nights.
