Must have:
  • Design and deliver high-quality, engaging learning interventions focused on behavioural, interpersonal, and professional development skills.
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, adapting delivery styles to accommodate diverse learner needs and preferences.
  • Embed 70:20:10 learning principles into all development initiatives to support continuous, on-the-job learning.
  • Own and evolve the Managing Your Talent programme – our flagship line manager development offering – ensuring it is impactful, current, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Learning and Talent Development to deliver and enhance leadership development programmes, ensuring relevance and effectiveness across all levels.
  • Champion a transformational learning culture, driving innovation and experimentation in how learning is designed, accessed, and embedded.
  • Leverage L&D tools, platforms, and digital solutions to enhance learner engagement, track impact, and streamline delivery.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships across all levels of the business, developing a deep understanding of organisational goals, skill gaps, and team challenges.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and SMEs to ensure development solutions are strategically aligned and future-focused.
  • Use data, feedback, and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of development programmes and continuously improve offerings.
  • Contribute to talent development planning, identifying opportunities to future-proof our talent pipeline through proactive skill-building and capability uplift.
Good to have:
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leadership development programme delivery
  • Familiarity with psychometrics, behavioural tools, or diagnostics (e.g. Insights, MBTI, DiSC)

Hey there, I'm Hannah, Hawk-Eye's Head of Talent Development and I'm looking for someone to join my team as a Learning and Development Manager. This is a really important role as the business continues to grow, where you'll help lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our people development programme.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Design & Delivery

  • Design and deliver high-quality, engaging learning interventions focused on behavioural, interpersonal, and professional development skills.
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, adapting delivery styles to accommodate diverse learner needs and preferences.
  • Embed 70:20:10 learning principles into all development initiatives to support continuous, on-the-job learning.

Programme Ownership

  • Own and evolve the Managing Your Talent programme – our flagship line manager development offering – ensuring it is impactful, current, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Learning and Talent Development to deliver and enhance leadership development programmes, ensuring relevance and effectiveness across all levels.

Culture & Innovation

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build strong, consultative relationships across all levels of the business, developing a deep understanding of organisational goals, skill gaps, and team challenges.

Strategic Insight & Planning

  • Use data, feedback, and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of development programmes and continuously improve offerings.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a Learning & Development role with a focus on people (non-technical) development and leadership capability.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills – confident delivering to varied audiences across virtual and in-person settings.
  • Excellent understanding of adult learning theory, learning styles, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Experience designing and delivering programmes aligned to the 70:20:10 framework and supporting learning culture transformation.
  • Familiarity with L&D technologies and tools (e.g. learning platforms, feedback tools, virtual delivery tech).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a consultative, collaborative style.
  • Ability to translate business needs and strategic objectives into effective learning solutions.
  • A passion for empowering people, developing others, and unlocking potential.
  • Proactivity to explore the business and understand/pre-empt requirements

Desirable Qualifications:
